This is it.
Glad to hear from everyone who's planning to add their magical support to this cause. Good luck to all. Please feel free to post follow up reports. Thank you.
Just a quick word to say that I'll be adding my own solitary support tomorrow. Good luck everyone, I think this is a great idea.

Getting Down to the Wire.
June 3rd is only a few days away and, while I'm sure we're all still working towards our individual ritual plans, I'm afraid we let the task of coming up with a united statement of purpose kind of slide.
Based on the suggestions so far, I'd like to put forward the following: "It is our will that Damien Echol, Jessie Misskelley Jr, & Jason Baldwin should receive fair and speedy new trials in which justice is served."
How does everyone feel about this? Please speak up with any suggestions or changes you might like to make. I think it is importance that, whatever type of magick or ritual we each do, as many people as possible should share an identically worded statement of purpose. But, even if for whatever reason you don't want to use the SOP we agree upon here, don't let that discourage you from doing your own magical working this Saturday.

Statement of Purpose
I would like to ask the entire community to open up a discussion on what the central statement of purpose for this ritual is going to be. This statement is the one thing that everyone involved must agree upon and share so it is really the crux of the discussion here. Please look back to the post titled "Step One." Think it over and give an example of what you think should be included/excluded, wording, direction, etc.
Also, we are getting down to the wire here - PROMOTE! If you know anyone who might be interested try to get them on the list.
18 days. . .

I'm a UK based OTO member who's been following the wm3 since Henry Rollins (of all people) performed a spoken word show some time back. He went into great detail about the case and, I dare say, won over a hell of a lot of people.
I'll be speaking to the Lodge Master here in London to find out what we can do to help, and to see how many other members of the Order can aid us.
I find it ironic that the belief system that was a contributing factor in this case going so hideously wrong, is now a protagonist in aiding it's rightfull resolution.

Okay. I have to say I had expected a better turn out in this community but we will work with what we have. Spread the word and try to get more people involved if you can - in the meantime it is time to get to work. As I said at the onset, there will be no formal ritual or tradition here but the one thing we must
have is a unified mission statement/statement of intent that we are all in agreement on. Let's start by discussing that. Ideas? Suggestions?
I want to stay away from things like "find the real
killers," and "prove the innocence of the WM3." We have to be very careful what we ask for and how we ask for it. The point here is that these men have been imprisoned due to a miscarriage of justice. I believe they are innocent, but that is an opinion not a fact. Either way - innocent or guilty - you cannot (should be be able to) convict a person within the American system of justice without a fair and appropriate trial. Think on that while deciding how you would like to approach the mission statement.
Also - I would like everyone to share ideas on how they plan to conduct their own rituals. Share time. ;) Current Mood: ready

Hey guys! I talked to Damien about the ritual plan, and he had this to say in response:
"The O.T.O. siblings you mentioned who are trying to organize a world wide magickal operation to get me out--Would you tell them to please
not give up on this? I had actually planned on asking you if Sol Invictus Camp might be interested in coming together to do something ike that. Hell, I'd be happy even if it were just one person willing to do it. Anything
to lend a bit of momentum."
I thought you guys might like to hear it straight from the horse's mouth. The Goetia mention was in reference to something lord_dominion
and I were discussing, which I brought up with D. Personally, Andromaleus and I get on quite well, so I think I'll be talking with it about it; you know, "discovery of liars and wrong-doers," "hidden treasures" (which can be extrapolated to mean quite a lot of things) and all that jazz.... I'll be looking over my options, though.
Anyone care to share their thoughts on their own ritual plans? Current Mood: pleased

WM3 World Awareness Day Ritual
The 13th anniversary of the arrests of the West Memphis Three is coming up on June 3. I know that many of you support wm3.org and the Free WM3 campaigns but this is a uniquely magickal approach to the situation. I want to ask pagans, neo-pagans, ceremonial magicians, witches, and occultists of all varieties to join in this work. What I am proposing is a day long, worldwide, magickal campaign for justice. There will be no specified ritual to follow and no set time. We will agree on a statement of purpose – wording and exactly what
is asked for are very important in a ritual like this – and open the window for the work at 12 am June 3, concluding at 12 am June 4. This allows each participant to practice in his or her own tradition and allows for schedule conflicts and time zones. I know many of us will be attending (or organizing) local events that night, so this will also allow us to work around that.
If you are interested in using your magick to fight for justice, to end tyranny, oppression, and superstition, and to correct this legal debacle, join wm3_ritual_plan
and add your ideas.
